Andreas joined Baker Tilly in 2015 and for the last 10 years he is working in the Tax Advisory Department in Cyprus. He has experience in international tax planning, on structuring operations and group structures for international clients in various industries such as the banking/insurance and financial industry, the technology sector/industry, the hotel industry, the construction industry, the manufacturing and retail industry etc. He has been involved with several due diligence projects concentrating on direct and indirect tax issues in a variety of industries. Andreas is also a VAT expert and a member of the board and a secretary of the Cyprus VAT Association. Furthermore, Andreas is also a selected member of the tax compliance committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Cyprus. In addition to his tax background, for the last 6 years, Andreas is also a key member of the Risk Committee of Baker Tilly South-east Europe, and he was actively involved with the drafting of the firm’s Risk Management Manual, as well as the implementation of the policies included in the manual.
