He holds a PhD in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and his remarkable career has been defined by visionary leadership and innovation within the tourism industry. During his tenure as an Executive Board Member and Director of Sales & Marketing at H & C Hotels, he spearheaded strategies that resulted in exceptional revenue growth and occupancy rates. As President of the Cyprus Hotel Managers Association, Vice President of the Famagusta Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Tourism, and a key member of influential committees in tourism policy, Dr. Angelides has played a pivotal role in shaping the competitiveness of the sector. Since 2025, in his role as General Manager of the Cyprus Hotel Association, he aims to contribute to the industry’s transition into a new phase of growth, creativity, and worldwide impact.
