Philippos is a Partner and the Head of Tax & Legal Services at EY Cyprus. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance, is a fellow qualified Certified Accountant, a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and a member of the Tax Policy Committee of ICPAC. He is also a member of the Cyprus Treaty Negotiation team. He has significant experience in tax consulting of local and international companies. Along with his team, he provides tax services to a wide range of industries, including insurance companies, banks and other financial services, energy, shipping, construction and real estate, tourism and hospitality. His main responsibilities focus on Direct Tax and has accumulated a vast knowledge and expertise. Philippos has led many tax and legal due diligences in different industries. He has consulted and assisted clients in issues connected with mergers, liquidations, tax transformations, and sale of businesses, as well as transactions and restructurings mainly in the financial and real estate business.
